Our Story
With many years experience working with children, both as teachers and social workers, we understand that children learning through play can provide a healthy, active and fun environment for them to develop life skills and a positive outlook. We provide an environment for children to progress this outside of the normal school term so that they can continue to develop and prosper in the half term and holidays. We are committed to providing Multi-Activity days, run by DBS checked Education professionals, in familiar surroundings, to support parents and carers during school holidays.

Our activities are carefully selected to develop new skills and to build confidence. Our Team Leaders are recruited because of their professional knowledge and enthusiasm. Our Schools are selected to provide this service on your door step. We look forward to welcoming your child onto a 4Wards Multi-Activity Day soon. PHIL WARD
Team Lead
I am a Senior Leader in a Hampshire School and a qualified PE teacher. I have over 25 years experience of coaching children both in the UK and the USA. Sport has been a passion my whole life having played at County level Football, and Rugby throughout secondary school. I also played semi-professional football for a number of clubs including Forest Green Rovers, Yate Town and Mangotsfield Utd. Since hanging up my boots, golf has replaced football but I am nowhere near as good! Hobbies include football (I am a huge Arsenal fan!), Skiing, golf and long family walks with the dog.​​
KERRI WARD
Team Lead and Administrator
With 20 years experience working with children and families; I am a qualified Social Worker who now works as a Family Support Worker in two local Primary Schools. I have spent time volunteering with children in the UK and abroad and this is something I am passionate about. I am the face behind the admin side of the company, keeping everything organised. My other passions are my family, beingout in nature, reading and all things creative!
LIZZIE WHEADON
Team Coach
I am a Geography Teacher with a passion in physical geography. When I am not outside exploring different beaches and forest walks, I am studying to complete a masters degree in advanced child protection. I love travelling to different countries and have been lucky enough to teach English and sport to children in an orphanage in Vietnam. My favourite sports are netball and swimming and I love the excitement sports can bring to both children and adults
JORDAN WRIGHT
Team Coach
A qualified Sports Educator with over 14 years of coaching experience have been based in Primary School sport for the last 7 years working with a range of ages from Aged 4 upwards. I am a massive fan of most sports but mainly cricket and football. I have played Cricket for almost 18 years, playing for Hampshire, and even South East England at college level. I am currently playing in the Southern Premier League which gives me the opportunity to travel to Austrailia to play for at a Semi Professional level for a Perth side, Gosnells CC.I also play for a local football Sunday league in the off season from cricket.I am a huge Arsenal Football fan and love watching a rage of sports.
OLLIE BRANN
Team Coach
I am a 2nd year Solent University student studying Physical Education with the intention of becoming a PE teacher. I have a passion for all sports where I have competed in cricket, badminton, handball, basketball and football at school events.
Alongside university, I frequently volunteer at a local Southampton school for extra curricular sports trips and have had experience of being a young leader at secondary school where we helped manage school sport events.
Outside of university, I am a fully qualified football referee on Sundays, the Wessex league and at the Southampton FC Academy. I also manage and coach a Sunday league football team and I am a Southampton FC season ticket holder.
TOMMY JARVIS
Team Coach
I'm a recent graduate as part of Class 2025 at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where I studied Sport, Physical Activity and Health. My course had a large focus on Sports Coaching, so I am eager to gain more hands-on experience in this field. I'm a big Southampton FC fan and also have hobbies such as going to the gym, going on long walks and skiing. In my free time I like spending time with my family and friends and keeping up with a variety of sports, such as football, tennis and darts.
CHRIS BIXLEY
Team Coach
I am a qualified PE teacher who has over 15 years coaching and teaching experience. I have also been passionate about playing, teaching and coaching sport. My favourute sports are mainly rackets based as I play competitive tennis for Thorden tennis club in Hampshire league and Ageon Regional level. I have also played Rugby, cricket, football and squash and would like to consider myself a good allround sportsman.I believe many positive values can be promoted through sport such as respect, team work healthy competition and sportsmanship. I like to promote all of these through my coaching, giving childern the opportunity to partcipate in sport and gain the many benefits which can be gained from doing this.
I have a young family and enjoy spending time with my daughter doing various activities such as Gym tots and swimming.
RACHEL WHITE
Team Coach
A passionate cricket fan and ex-international player. I love everything about the sport and enjoy coaching it and other sports to children to have the same experiences and opportunities I did when I was younger
